#GIFTBOX: Book Donations from Go-Box

Early December last year, we’ve received great news that Go-Box, a service under popular app-based transportation services, Go-Jek, would be extending their support to us through the #GIFTBOX program.

#GIFTBOX is a social program by Go-Box that helps collect & deliver donated goods to nonprofit organizations through out the country. Individuals and companies who are interested to their second-hand books, clothing & other goods, were to register for #GIFTBOX and have their donations delivered to organizations that will direct the donations for those in need. As we have previously partnered with Go-Jek, we were delighted to hear that we were one of the organizations to partner with them for #GIFTBOX.

On Tuesday, January 19, representatives from Go-Box, Irvan & Ghalila, delivered 6 boxes of books to our office. The children’s books that we receive will be sent to our libraries in Flores, while the second-hand adult novels will be directed to our fundraising program Drive Books Not Cars. Thank you Go-Jek & Go-Box for your continuous support for our program!
