Through the “Book a Smile” program, Citibank Indonesia has recently donated 1000 children books to the Rainbow Reading Gardens during its “Global Community Day”.

Not only that. Upon receiving the books from the Citibankers, Citi volunteers and their families helped us on on our “Book Stamping” activities. Both children and parents participated in stamping the books, while making sure they are all suitable for Rainbow Reading Gardens’ children.

At the event which was held at Geloran Bung Karno Senayan, Jakarta, Rainbow Reading Gardens also opened a booth to sell novels and english book stories. Proceeds of which would be used to buy more books and library equipments for the libraries.

 

On behalf of the kids at the Rainbow Reading Gardens in eastern Indonesia, we would like to express our gratitude to Citi Indonesia for the generous support and book donation. The children will be very happy to read the books.

 

Let’s increase the reading interest of the children of eastern Indonesia.
