TEDx Jakarta‘s “Deceptive Truths” that was held on April 1st, 2012 at the Jakarta International School went very well with inspiring speakers such as Connie Bakrie and our Minister of Trade Gita Wirjawan. The performance of 57Kustik was incredibly amazing, too!

What’s more exciting for us was to see people bringing books and dropping them off at “Drive Books, Not Cars” box! Woohooo!!! We received 4 boxes full of books – brought by @sydsalesman and @jerryzhng. Big thanks for both of you! Syd even tweeted everyone prior to the D-day that he was willing to pick up the books from everyone who was going to the TEDx Jakarta’s event! So nice of him!

Apart from those 4 boxes, the “Drive Books, Not Cars” box was filled with books by the end of the day. Yeaaayyy!!! Thank you, everyone, for your kindness!!  We also would like to thank the TEDx Jakarta’s crew for letting us set up a drop box there! Really appreciate it!
