Today, Taman Bacaan Pelangi (Rainbow Reading Gardens) received 130 books from “Noah Learning Center”. Yayyy!!  About a month ago, “Noah Learning Center” held a books-collecting-weeks for two weeks, starting from 23 April 2010 onwards. The school asked its students’ parents to donate books (used and/or new) for “Taman Bacaan Pelangi”.

After two weeks, there were 130 books collected! And all of them were donated for our reading gardens! When we received the package, we couldn’t help not to smile to see a number of good children story books inside. From folktales stories such as “Bawang Merah & Bawang Putih”, “Kancil & Keong” to popular cartoon characters such as Barney & Baby Bop, Barbie, Cinderella, Superman, Dora The Explorer, etc are among the titles of the books donated. There are also books about animals, too! Perfect. We imagined that the kids in Flores must be very happy to see these books. They would definitely enjoy reading them!
